Before I was born everybody thought I was going to be a BOY!

My name was going to be Daryl Alexander (after my dad)

Before I was born the doctor told my mom I was going to be a 10 pound baby and that she was not going to be able to deliver me and that she was going to have to have a C-section.

She wasn't happy about it but she did it with out even trying herself.

When I was born I was 8lb 11oz and 20 1/2 inches long.

The family wanted my name to be Ashley Kathryn. My middle name belonged to my grandma Finley and my first name was agreed after much discussion. the other names they were thinking about were Holly Noelle, Allie, Bethany Star, Eve and Chrissy Eve, and the boy name they had picked Daryl Alexander.

I had to spend my first night in the intensive care having my blood sugar taken. My mom and I had to stay in the hospital for about 5 days before we got to go home.

On the car ride home I was wearing a pink and white footed sleeper and I slept all the way there.

The house we lived in when I was born was in Wichita, Ks.
